It’s slow, & gotta make that #content.
Seen bacon done right.
Why the hell to Americans like bacon crispy. When it’s crispy is fucking ruined. Why?! The crunch takes away from the bacon experience . The bacon experience should be that it’s cooked where the fat is rendered out, but it’s still flexes. I think it has to do with lots of people don’t know how to cook it properly, so they kill it that the pig is screaming to the point that it’s dead embodiment knows it’s time for it come out of the pan to be enjoyed, no more killed then it already is. Cook your bacon right, not wrong.
Now back to the regular programming.

Maybe this is an unpopular American opinion, but I agree, and so does my wife.
In fact, it is because we agree on this that my wife and I met.
So thanks, indirectly, for supporting my marriage.

There is a fine line though between still undercooked, properly cooked, and too crispy. Everyone is afraid of trichinosis so they default to overcooked.

If I wanted ruined bacon I go to some hole in the wall diner & get the $4.99 bacon & egg special.

I like. My streaky (U.S. style) bacon quite crispy, just to the point it’s quite firm.
But on real bacon, proper bacon, the bacon that has the Canadian style loin on and the American style belly, I like it just cooked with the fat caramelised.
You can’t beat the start of the day with two weeks soft white buttered rolls with four-six rashers of bacon either topped with a fried egg or tomato ketchup or brown sauce.
I'm not really a ketchup on bacon buttie fan, but with a soft yolk fried egg. It's ruddy amazing.

I usually cook my bacon so it bends a little but breaks if you bend too far, that seems like ideal bacon consistency to me. That said, I occasionally nuke a piece and while not how I’d cook every piece, I still find it enjoyable...it doesn’t work on a sandwich because it becomes bacon bits, but still.

I like mine down to the point where the fat is rendered and melts when you bite. My wife likes a crunch to the bacon.
